KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Sally Kane

Sally Kane is a successful nonprofit executive with thirty years of leadership experience. She has worked in the field of public radio for twenty five years in both station management and leading the National Federation of Community Broadcasters (NFCB). As a seasoned CEO, Ms. Kane has extensive experience in fundraising, strategic planning, nonprofit best practices, change management, public speaking, group facilitation, program development, and policy design. Prior to entering public media, she worked in the private sector owning her own business and in the public sector as a maternal health care provider and advocate. Deeply connected to her agricultural roots in rural Colorado, Sally is passionate about advancing the vitality of rural communities. She is an outspoken advocate for performance art and local media, as economic and cultural drivers.
