Ellery Charley Joins Native Public Media as the New Operations and Development Manager
Native Public Media (NPM) is pleased to announce the hire of Ellery Charley as its Operations and Development Manager, effective May 3, 2024. In this role, Charley will be instrumental in developing and executing a fundraising strategy to ensure NPM's fiscal sustainability. Additionally, he will oversee and optimize the organization's internal operations to maintain efficient, effective, and mission-driven activities. NPM welcomes Charley's leadership operations and looks forward to his contributions to the organization's ongoing success.
Charley brings a diverse skill set to NPM, with experience in luxury fashion press relations, media, and art sectors. He holds degrees from Arizona Western College and Weber State University, combining academic excellence with practical experience to deliver impactful results.
Originally from TséLich'Da'azkán, Arizona, Charley is a member of the Big Sandy Band of Hualapai and is Born for the Mud and Salt Clans of the Navajo people. He has extensive experience working with Native communities in Tribal Nations and Urban settings. His focus has been providing prevention education to Native youth and volunteering for numerous community service efforts nationwide. Charley is passionate for helping people and challenging social norms to create culturally attuned and positive change.
