Raymond Foxworth (Navajo) serves as deputy director of development and senior program officer for First Nations Development Institute. As a senior program officer, Raymond participates in a range of program and research projects involving managing the Native food systems initiative, family economic security and strengthening the nonprofit sector in Indian Country. Moreover, as deputy director of development, Raymond is responsible for leading fundraising efforts with the First Nations President Michael Roberts. Prior to joining First Nations, Raymond served as a project officer for the American Indian College Fund in Denver, Colorado where he managed over $19 million in projects that supported tribal colleges and universities across the U.S. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in political science, and is currently a doctoral candidate in the department of political science at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Raymond is a citizen of the Navajo Nation, originally from Tuba City, Arizona.
